Mark Schnee, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Mark Schnee has been in private cardiology practice since 1977. He graduated with honors from St. Andrews University in Scotland, Faculty of Pure Science, in 1968. He attended Glasgow University Medical School from 1968 to 1972 and fulfilled his residency requirements at the Glasgow University Affiliated Hospitals. He served as the senior house officer at the University of Nebraska in Omaha and completed his fellowship there between 1975-1977. Dr. Schnee moved to Houston, Texas, where he finished a Fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine. He began practicing at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in 1977.
Dr. Schnee is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the Royal College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians. He is currently a member of the Texas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society, Houston Society of Internal Medicine and the Texas Heart Institute Professional Staff. He has also reached Diplomate status within the American Board of Internal Medicine for Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. Schnee is licensed by The Board of Medical Examiners for the State of Texas, and he is affiliated with CHI St. Luke’s Medical Center. He also performs consulting services in Bay City, TX for Matagorda General Hospital.
In recent years, Dr. Schnee's main areas of interest have been clinical cardiology, invasive and cardiac intervention, and peripheral vascular disease.
Jorge Garcia-Gregory, M.D., F.A.C.C.
For 41 years, Dr. Jorge Garcia-Gregory has dedicated his professional career to offering the highest quality interventional cardiology available. Dr. Garcia-Gregory obtained his undergraduate degree at Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1968. He then attended the University of Puerto Rico from 1969 to 1973, at which time he earned his medical degree. During medical school, Dr. Garcia-Gregory was inducted into the honors society Alpha Omega Alpha in 1972.
Dr. Garcia-Gregory then came to Houston, Texas, where he completed an Affiliated Hospitals Straight Medical Internship and an Affiliated Hospitals Internal Medicine Residency through the Baylor College of Medicine. At the Texas Heart Institute, he completed a Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship from 1976 to 1979 and was named as Chief Cardiology Fellow from 1977 to 1978.
A Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology Dr. Garcia-Gregory strives to stay on the forefront of cardiology to offer the most effective treatments. He maintains memberships in the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American College of Internal Medicine, Texas Society of Internal Medicine, Houston Society of Internal Medicine, American College of Cardiology, Harris County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiologists, American College of Physicians and the Society of Cardiac Angiography & Interventions.
Licensed by The Board of Medical Examiners of the State of California and the State of Texas, Dr. Garcia-Gregory is affiliated with CHI St. Luke’s Medical Center.
When he’s not working, Dr. Garcia-Gregory’s special interests include automobiles and watches.
